Libraries Consultation Announcement
Nearly 8,000 took the opportunity to express their views and the findings from the consultation have been used to develop the proposal to: Retain a library or multi service centre in each major town or village in the East Riding but reduce opening hours Retain a mobile library service which would continue to deliver services across the East Riding but reduce the level of service Amalgamate the two libraries in Bridlington into one library - in line with other towns in the East Riding Invest £7.4 million in creating six more multi service centres
On 17 May 2016 The Cabinet gave permission to consult on this proposal.
The consultation will run from 25 May 2016 to 3 August 2016 and the questionnaire is available online at www.eastriding.gov.uk/proposalconsultation and paper versions are available at branch libraries, mobile libraries, multi service centres, customer service centres, leisure centres and children's centres.
