Queen's Platinum Jubilee

To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June, the Parish Council held an afternoon tea at the Pavilion, with the aim being to get our elderly residents back into socialising, particularly encouraging those who are still isolating and those who find it difficult to attend social events to come along.

It was a multi-generational event, and included some attendance by carers and all the serving staff were from our local school. 

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all - we even managed to help celebrate the 102nd birthday of one lady in attendance!
