Hidden pathways of Molescroft
06/01/2025
We wish to share the hidden pathways of Molescroft Parish and our lovely wildlife areas.
Please come and join us for an ERYC, Walking for Heath, Active Communities
Free guided informal walk, every Tuesday, 10 am, at Molescroft Pavilion, Woodhall Way, Molescroft, HU17 7HT.
We are a fun, friendly group and look forward to welcoming you and having a chat about Molescroft Parish Council & Molescroft Wildlife Network over refreshments afterwards.
It is
- • Suitable for all abilities
- • no need to book
- • the different routes lead to our lovely wildlife areas, Hudson Way, Molescroft Millennium Wildlife area, Scrubwood Lane, St Mary’s Graveyard, the Westwood and other hidden pathways of Molescroft Parish,
- • toilets are available for the walkers
This is part of Molescroft Wildlife Network’s ‘Molescroft Nature for Health’ project and helps towards encouraging 1 in 4 residents of the parish to be actively engaged in taking action for nature. Research has shown that increasing connection with the local outdoors and nature can significantly reduce depression and anxiety.
We take the opportunity, at the refreshments afterwards, to let people know about the different volunteering opportunities for wildlife in the Parish and the plethora of ongoing nature activities. Arranging the walks provides a safe environment for everyone to enjoy walking and exploring our natural environment
Thank you to Laura Hutchinson and her team from ERYC, Walking for Health, Active Communities, for their invaluable support.
