Officers are continuing to explore multiple lines of enquiry in the search to locate 55-year-old Richard who was reported to us as missing on Monday 30 December.

Leading the search Inspector Simon Adams said: “Over the course of the last five-days we have been conducting extensive lines of enquiry to locate Richard since he left his home address on the Molescroft and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We have been trawling hundreds of hours of CCTV and doorbell footage, conducting house to house enquiries and area searches of rural locations to try and understand which direction Richard may have travelled in since leaving his home.

“As a part of those enquiries, we are now able to release the below CCTV footage of Richard at 9.08am at the Molescroft Pavillion that morning (Monday 30 December).

“Richard is then thought to have walked on Hull Bridge Road Tickton before heading east towards the Crown and Anchor pub. He has then headed north along the banks of the river Hull  in the direction of High Eske nature reserve at 9:37am. This is the last confirmed sighting of him.

“He is described as being 6ft tall with dark brown hair, a bushy beard and is believed to be wearing a tan coat, dark denim trousers with a dark hat.
