Visitors to the Pavilion may have noticed that the Parish Council have recently had an AED (Defibrillator) installed on the outside of the building, kindly donated by Esh Construction, for the use of the local community.

In relation to the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, at the Parish Council Meeting held on 19th March 2020, the Council resolved that the day to day operations of the Council, for the extent of the period of constraint by the Coronavirus, be delegated to the Clerk in consultation with the Chairman and/or the Vice Chairman. Subject to legislation, the minutes from this meeting will be approved via email. All future meetings will be cancelled until further notice, but the Pavilion will be kept open until Government advice instructs otherwise.

Each week on a Wednesday afternoon at 2-15pm members of “Tomorrows Youth” meet in the Molescroft Pavilion where we enjoy a range of activities e.g. Kurling, Boccia, various board games, table tennis, crafting, keep fit and Tai Chi to name but a few.

In December, the Parish Council awarded the Millenium Cup to Michael Loncaster, Headteacher of Molescroft Primary School. The Millenium Cup was integrated for the Queen's Golden Jubilee, and is awarded to people who make a big contribution to the parish.

Molescroft Parish Council have recently appointed a new Clerk. Mrs Laura George will be working with Councillors and residents over the coming months and commences in role 18th November 2019. In keeping with the Parish Councils ambition to ensure Molescroft is a green, vibrant and pleasant place to live and visit, the Council have commenced a programme of tree planting in and around the Parish. This is a priority for the Council and is being carried out in partnership with the local Rotary Club who have a keen interest in helping with this work. This oak is the first of many, planted with the help of Councillors Mac Fleming, Jackie Heffer and Assistant Pavilion Manager Peter Wiles. Thanks to all for helping to make this happen!
